The Best Is Yet To Come (2019)

  • Comedy, Drama
  • 1h 57m

From directors Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de la Patellière, reunited for the first time since ‘What’s in a Name?’ (two César nominations in 2013 for Best Film and Best Adaptation).

Fabrice Luchini plays a serious medical practitioner and Patrick Bruel a charming self-indulgent rogue, his polar opposite. The two are long-time close friends, in good times and bad. Yet they experience a terrible misunderstanding, distorted good intentions hiding health issues from each other. Will they be able to reconcile? These two great actors perform their roles with great chemistry and good humour, eloquently reflecting on the meaning of life, on death, and on the nature of deep and supportive friendship.

_“It’s a joy to see (Fabrice Luchini and Patrick Bruel) having a great time on screen.” - Cinemanía _
